Being A Nobody....

"To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting."
- E.E. Cummings

It's tough. It's hard to remain who you are in a world which is trying it's level best to make you what you are not.  To break you into millions of pieces, to shatter you completely so that you can be born again to be someone absolutely different from who you are, it declares the world to be a winner!

Sometimes it makes me think deep, is it so difficult to be yourself? There are times when all you feel like doing is be alone and hibernate in a place where nobody will ever be able to find you out. I wonder why is it so important for people to know what's going on in your life, rather than concentrating on their own's?

A favorite has no friend. You see, standing out of the crowd can be pricey. Nothing comes free, therefore being too famous surely proves to be injurious to you. Relentless gossips behind your  back, shameless stares and the prolonged interference can get so much into your nerves, that you might feel a strong tingling and desire to break their faces. Ah what satisfaction that would be! It's not really funny, is it?

Let's try to be a nobody in the crowd for a change. Let's at least pretend to be one. It's way more difficult to be a nobody than to be a somebody in life. Yeah! I mean, it might take you endless efforts to be someone, and finally you would achieve it.

But, making efforts to be a nobody is fruitless, because no matter how you push yourself to that door, you are still going to find the world way ahead of you all set to win the war.

You can keep fighting though. I guess in the end, all that matters is to keep going......

I am fighting since i was born and my award of being lost in the crowd is yet to be discovered. May be never! What's your story?
